Mr. Hubert "Hugh" Davis

Mr. Hugh Davis is currently assigned to the Headquarters, U.S. Army Training and Doctrine Command as the Acting Deputy Chief of Staff, G-1/4 (Personnel and Logistics).

He is a former enlisted Infantry Soldier and a Distinguished Military Graduate of the University of Missouri – Columbia ROTC program with a BS in Independent Studies in Biology.  Mr. Davis was commissioned during his sophomore year of college and served two years as an Infantry Platoon Leader in the Kansas Army National Guard.  Upon graduation he was selected for a Regular Army commission as an Air Defense Artillery Officer and served as an ADA platoon leader, battery executive officer, and battalion adjutant and S1. 

As a captain, Mr. Davis transferred to the Quartermaster branch and served in leadership positions in heavy and airborne divisions as well as the 3d Armored Cavalry Regiment, including 27 months experience as a battalion operations officer, a squadron support operations officer, and the Deputy G4, 4th ID.  Mr. Davis commanded the 262d Quartermaster Battalion at Fort Lee with the mission of training parachute riggers, fuel supply and lab specialists, water purification specialists, clothing and textile repair specialists, and mortuary affair specialists.  After battalion command, Mr. Davis served as the executive officer to the Deputy Commanding General, United States Training and Doctrine Command. 

His most recent assignment was as an adjunct professor at the National Defense University’s Eisenhower School of National Security Strategy and Resource Management.
