GS-1701 14/15 "Capper" - (AKO Login Required) - Policy addresses a major change to the CP-32 1700 and 301-T series. The principal change is all CP-32 1700 and 301-T series end at the GS-13 level and all 14/15 positions become GS-1701. This policy also addresses the elimination and transition of GS-1701 11 through 13 positions into the appropriate GS-1700 position. All current positions are "grandfathered". Once positions are vacated, career managers are responsible for reviewing and ensuring CP-32 position vacancies are correctly identified.

Instructions for Re-writing Army Regulation 10-87 - Policy provides a description of the realignment of Army headquarter, Major Commands (MACOM), Field Operating Agencies (FOA) and Staff Supporting Agencies (SSA). The realignment is a result of Decision Point 58 of the Army Campaign Plan.

CES Credit for SBLM - With the elimination of Sustaining Base Leadership Management (SBLM) and creation of the Intermediate and Advanced Civilian Education courses, the issue of graduates receiving credit for attendance in SBLM and forgoing attendance in these CES courses has been raised. The attached memorandum addresses who is eligible to receive credit for previous SBLM and thus not required to take the Civilian Intermediate or Advanced Courses.

TRADOC Civilian Leader Development - Memorandum addresses the mandated CG, TRADOC requirement that all first time supervisors must complete the on-line Supervisor Development Course within 6 months of becoming a supervisor. The mandated attendance at SBLM is no longer valid due to the development of CES leadership courses which will replace SBLM.

TRADOC Policy Letter 12, TRADOC Civilian Leader Development Program - Policy provides CG, TRADOC commitment to the Civilian Leader Development Program (CLDP). The policy addresses key training associated with the CLDP: the Civilian Education System, Supervisory Development Course, Advanced Leadership Training, TRADOC Senior Leader Development, Senior Level Assignment Opportunity, Fellows Program, and the Greening Course.

Army Civilian Education System Policy - Policy provides guidance on the Army civilian leader development programs and specific guidance for implementing the CES core leader development courses (Foundation, Basic, Intermediate and Advanced).
