During the two-year intern program, interns are given an opportunity to expand their knowledge of the Army mission and programs, refine abilities, and develop skills needed to enter a target position at the end of the program. Rotational assignments are carefully planned and implemented. These forms provide a systematic way to evaluate the success of the assignments in preparing interns for graduation from the program.
Intern Rotational Assignment Worksheet - Prior to each assignment, the Activity Career Program Manager for the Regional Training Center to which the intern is assigned and the designated supervisor meet to discuss the rotation objectives and the tasks the intern will be expected to complete. These objectives are based on intern grade functional and core competencies. A separate worksheet is prepared for each assignment. The worksheet is signed by all parties and used to complete the evaluation of the assignment by the intern and the supervisor. The intern should retain a copy of the form to assess progress throughout and at the end of the assignment.
Intern Evaluation of Rotational Assignment - This form allows the intern to evaluate each rotational assignment and provide feedback for improvements. The form must be submitted to the Activity Career Program Manager upon the completion of each rotational assignment. The evaluation input is assessed by the Activity Career Program Manager to ensure assignments are providing the appropriate CP-32 training and that the intern is meeting expectations.
Rotational Assignment Supervisor Evaluation - The direct supervisor completes this form assessing the intern's strengths/weaknesses and performance throughout the assignment. This evaluation helps the Activity Career Program Manager to ensure the intern has performed to satisfactory standards and that the rotational assignments are providing appropriate CP-32 training.
