Currently, Joint Base Langley-Eustis host of the U.S. Army Training and Doctrine Command Headquarters is operating under Health Protection Condition Charlie. Subordinate organizations are advised to visit installation specific sites for their current HPCON. Below is a brief explanation of each HPCON.
Prior to community transmission
Community transmission beginning: instances of people infected, including those not sure how or where became infected
Increased community transmission: people infected in more than one location, but how or where became infected may not be known
Sustained community transmission: additionally, the spread is on-going
Widespread community transmission: additionally, includes majority of the regions
